Is a Landlord Gas Safety Record a legal requirement?
Yes. Landlords are legally required to have all gas appliances, flues, and pipework checked annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer and to provide tenants with a copy of the certificate.
How often does the inspection need to be renewed?
The Landlord Gas Safety Record must be renewed every 12 months, with the new inspection carried out within the two months before the previous certificate expires.
What happens if an appliance fails the safety check?
Unsafe appliances are immediately identified and, where necessary, disconnected. We provide a full report and can arrange repair before the appliance is returned to use.
Are your engineers Gas Safe registered?
Yes, every inspection is carried out by a fully qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.
